Over the summer we made a number of exciting changes which we are happy to see bidders are taking full advantage of!

We recently made additional changes that we are really excited to talk about as they make it easier than ever to bid and follow the action of our auctions.

Enhanced Watched Lots

Bidding on multiple lots in an auction can be difficult to manage, especially in the closing moments.

We have enhanced our Watched Lots tool to not only automatically update with the latest information, but you can now bid directly from the Watched Lots tool without leaving the page!

Each watched lot will now display:

• The lot’s current bid
• Your max bid (if you have placed bids)
• Whether you are winning the bid or you have been outbid
• The time the lot opens, closes, or has closed
• If the lot is in overtime due to last minute bids
• A bid button (if the lot is currently eligible for bidding)

The Watched Lots tool now contains everything you need to follow and bid on multiple lots, all in one place. We think of it like a control centre – and in your Watched Lots control centre you are in command!

Placing a bid from the Watched Lots tool is quick and easy. Simply click on the red “Place Bid” button, select your maximum bid from the dropdown list, and submit your bid. If your bid was executed successfully you will see confirmation immediately, and the lot in the Watched Lots tool will update right away to reflect your bid.

Remember: all of the information on the Watched Lots tool updates automatically, so you never need to refresh the page to see the most up-to-date information about your watched lots.

Enhanced Online Catalogues

Similar to the enhancements to our Watched Lots tools, we wanted to make it easier to follow the action of our auctions within our online catalogues (sometimes referred to as online galleries).

The time information (when a lot opens, closes or closed) along with the bid information (starting bid or current bid) will now update automatically!

With the combination of our Watched Lots tool changes and the changes to our online catalogues, we hope it makes it easier to follow along with and participate in all of our auctions.
